Websites/Links I recommend:
(Please note: I am NOT affiliated with these people or organizations-while I am inspired and learn from them, or use their service or product, I do not know them, or derive any benefit from recommending them. Also, the organizations and individuals named here do NOT know me, nor have asked me to promote them. Furthermore, my linking to them does NOT indicate any endorsement by them to anything I write here. If for some reason anyone mentioned here does not want me to link to them, I will happily remove the link, and please know I intended no offense. Email me at: alignwithlove85@gmail.com)
Lastly, a number of these links may be by people that do not specifically pronounce themselves as religious or Christian, but I found them helpful, as I do not believe everything has to be labeled “Christian” to be useful or helpful. I personally find the Spirit to be working, or helping me in some way, in all of these. They have helped me in my Walk in this Life–so here they are.
Center for Action and Contemplation Podcasts,
“Everything Belongs” and “Turning to the Mystics” are both really good! They will help you deepen in an expansive and open Christian spiritual perspective, with Richard Rohr and James Finley.
Zen Habits with Leo Babauta,
His Blog, podcast, and YouTube channel are great. Leo has so much good to say about dealing with resistance, fear, and blocks to creative work and so much more. He also coaches, and while I have not met him personally–I think he is fantastic.
Anxiety Toolkit with Kimberley Quinlan,
A podcast dealing with learning how to handle OCD, Depression, and Anxiety disorders. The link below is filled with tons of great content, and other resources. Only found this in Fall of 2024–and this has opened my eyes to myself and why I do a lot of what I do! Again, haven’t met her, but she has helped me tremendously already,
Calm it Down with Chad Lawson
Also a podcast, dealing with emotional/mental wellness. Chad is a musician, and has numerous albums of wonderful piano music,. He truly will help you calm down.
